How have you become better? What we feel about ourselves is how the world will likely respond to us. Consider the moments when you begin your sentences with, “My life isn’t perfect but…, “It’s hard but… Doing this reduces the impact of celebrating our growth in life. It’s totally acceptable to enjoy how you are elevating without incorporating difficulties associated with it.
LEARN TO ACCEPT THE DIFFERENCE IN OTHERS
Remember that everyone really is fighting some kind of battle or recovering from traumas in their life. Accepting the difference in others allows us to increase our level of grace and understanding minus the judgment. This has worked wonders in my life.
SAY THANK YOU MORE WHEN OTHERS ARE KIND TO YOU
Sending a text message to say Thank You is no comparison to simply saying Thank You when you are in front of someone, picking up the phone to say Thank You, or even creating a hand written note to mail out (my opinion only). Not only does it put a smile on the face of others, it also allows us to pause for a more a personal connection.
